POSITION:        Lead Carpenter (Supervisory)

LOCATION:       Economic Development, Concho, OK

ISSUE DATE:    September 11, 2008             CLOSING DATE:  continuous

Job Description:

This position acts as a field supervisor and reports to the Construction Manager.  The lead Carpenter is responsible for successful on-time/ on budget completion of projects, including scheduling, ordering of materials and supervision of helpers and general laborers.

Requirements:

» 2 years experienced in managing multiple projects at the same time;

» 2 years experience demonstrated ability to read plans/ specifications and do material takeoffs;

» 2 years experience demonstrated ability to set forms and finish work for concrete pours on various work sites;

» 2 years experience in tape & bedding, painting, flooring, and all other aspects of “finish” work;

» Experience must demonstrate ability to multi-task including finish wood and concrete work;

» Have excellent people skills, demonstrate supervisory skills;

» Have a good driving record, posses valid State Driver’s Licenses;

» Ability to work with other trades;

» Any and all other duties assigned;

» High School or GED required; Trades certification preferred;

» Must be dependable, have reliable transportation;

» Successfully pass Tribe’s Drug Testing requirements

SALARY:  NEGOTIABLE
