GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Under the direct supervision of the General Manager, incumbent shall be responsible for providing a safe and secure environment for all Tribal Casino and Smoke Shop employees and patrons. Incumbent will be responsible for patrolling the Casino/Smokeshop premises and maintain order and enforce regulations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for controlling access to restricted areas, monitor patron and employee passage in and out of facility.
- Responsible for checking for and reporting safety hazards, and ensure safety and security of all guests and employees.
- Remain highly visible to deter criminal activity.
- Notify 911 emergency services if needed.
- Conduct necessary drills to keep all employees updated on evacuation plans for fire, tornado, or bomb threats.
- Coordinate and conduct safety and first aid training to educate all employees about safety policies, laws and practices.
- Respond to medical situations of all types and provide First Aid if necessary.
- Conduct investigations of crimes and injury accidents.
- Document all incidents on the Tribal Security incident form and log book.
- Perform age verifications on patrons that appear to be under age.
- Assist Management and Enforcement officers in emergency situations.
- Prepare written reports documenting investigations of specified incidents.
- Perform building and property checks during evening hours and on weekends.
- Must be able to work evenings/nights, weekends and Holidays.
- Other job related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to write reports.
- Ability to use a telephone and two way radio.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality on all department matters.
- Must be able to deal with various levels of personality traits and maintain self control.
- Must conduct oneself in a professional and efficient manner during interaction with people.
- Ability to perform duties under frequent time pressure in an interruptive environment.
- High School Diploma or GED Certification.
- Current Oklahoma Driver’s License and dependable transportation.
REQUIREMENTS
Must demonstrate adept oral and written communication skills
- Previous experience in Security, Law Enforcement or Armed Forces preferred.
- CPR certification and First Aid training preferred.
- Must hold or be able to obtain a valid gaming license.
- Must be in good physical condition.
- Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening test.
- Indian Preference.
SALARY:
Negotiable, depending upon education and experience.
